I am unsatisfied with Human Rights Defender desk of NHRC.
Please read our urgent appeal on 25 January 2013. I wrote to NHRC.
But no appropriate action by Human Rights Defender Desk of NHRC and Criminal case filed against me and Shruti Nagvanshi on 19 June 2013 and attempt to killing on 24 April 2013.

This matter has been registered vide case No. 42218/24/72/2012 and a notice has been issued by the Commission to Sr. Superintendant of Police, Varanasi calling for a report within four weeks. The complainant has alleged that being annoyed from the complaint, the husband of the victim lady, in connivance with the police, has threatened either to eliminate him or to implicate falsely. The complainant has requested his security as well as security of the victim lady along with their families and CBCID enquiry of the matter. The Commission notices that a case No. 4419/24/72/2013 regarding threats and intimidation of Dr. Lenin Raghuvanshi in connivance with the police is already under consideration of this Commission. Let the case file No. 4490/24/72/2013 be tagged with the case file No. 4419/24/72/2013 and a copy of the complaint be sent to the Sr. Superintendant of Police, Varanasi calling for a report in the matter within four weeks. |

| Direction issued by the Commission | These proceedings shall be read in continuation of the Commission's earlier proceedings dated 25.3 .20 13 when it directed to issue a reminder to the Sr. Superintendent of Police, Varanasi to send the requisite report. The Superintendent of Police, Rural/Nodal Officer, Vranasi has sent an enquiry report of the Superintendent of Police, City, Varanasi dated 14.3.2013. A perusal of the report reveals that there is a matrimonial dispute between Smt. Sapna Chaurasia and her husband Sunil Kumar Gupta. During enquiry, she gave an application against her husband alleging harassment by her husband. Consequently, on 13.3.2013, a case crime No 4/2013 u/s 328/511/498A/323/504/506 IPC against Sunil Kumar Gupta was registered in PS Bhelupur, Varanasi. The case is being investigated by Smt. Ambika Singh, S.O., Women's Police Station, Varanasi. She has been directed to expedite the investigation. Let a copy of the report be sent to the complainant for his comments, if any, which should be received in the Commission within eight weeks. |
