Direction issued by the Commission	The complainant has brought to the notice of the Commission a newspaper report published in the 22.08.2011 edition of 'Punjab Kesari'. It is reported that ten persons were burnt alive in a passenger bus at Badwani, Madhya Pradesh. The petitioner has sought intervention of the Commission in the matter. Pursuant to the directions of the Commission a report dated 26.11.2011 has been received from IG Police(Complaints), Police HQRs, Bhopal. It is reported that because of a dispute between the bus drivers and the conductors, the bus was set on fire. 14 people died and 13 were injured. Case Crime No.186/11 was registered in the matter and the Charge Sheet has been filed. Payment of Rupees two lakhs each to the NOK of the deceased, Rupees twenty five thousand each to the seriously injured and Rupees five thousand each to those who suffered minor injuries, has been paid through cheque. The Commission has considered the report. The matter is under consideration before the Court. Adequate compensation has also been paid to the NOK of the deceased and to those who suffered injuries. No further action is required to be taken. The report is taken on record. The case is closed.
